Nothing to Worry aboutt

This weekend Gen and I went to the UCLA festival of books to look around and do some book shopping! We bought a coupple of books and notepads. Oh, and we went totally insane when we saw a stand that had nothing but amazing gel pens!!!

The Hill, the AMAZING Hill

Okay so there is this hill down the street. But the thing is, its not really a hill. It's some type of magical mystical grassy slope sent down from the heavens and brought to where we live. It's.....it's....it's AMAZING!
We've been taking walks past that hill since summer, but we've never got the nerve to ask the owner of that hill if we could simply just roll down it (because it looks so appealing and fun to roll or slide down). So recently, we finally got up the nerve to ask the person, "HEY! LET US ROLL DOWN THAT HILL!" Actually we didnt really say that, I'm just saying that for dramatical emphasis. What we really said was, "Hi, um, we were just wondering if, um, we could maybe, um, roll down your hill." The person did not speak english so we had to make hand motions to go along with our sentence: "Like rollllll, you know? ROLL?"

Recently, on my trip to NYC, I experienced a vanilla creamy chocolatey sensation called Magnolia Bakery Cupcakes. Luckily, I found the recipe online and I am going o try them out pretty soon. We know we have posted for about a week...Sorry! Our class went on a trip to D.C. for the past five days and we just got back. Here are our outfits for today-

Michelle is wearing Silver UO tights, AA shorts, Marc by Marc Jacobs knitted top, Zanotti flats, and vintage Chanel cashmere jakcet.

Gen is wearing Levi's cutoffs, black tank, Kimchi Blue bouse, fringe ankle boots, and vintage Chanel sweatshirt.

Summer is so soon! It feels great to be back in warm weather after feeling the freezing weather in DC!
